Neet Invoicing

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Neet Invoicing web application (“the App”, “the Service”), you (“User”, “you”) agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
These Terms also apply to Neet Accounting, our Google Sheets add-on. References to “the Service” include both Neet Invoicing and Neet Accounting.
If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
2. Description of Service
Neet Invoicing is a web application built on Google Apps Script that provides invoicing and business management functionality for small businesses, including:
- Invoice creation and tracking
- Professional PDF invoice generation
- Contact and customer management
- Time billing and activity tracking
- Payment recording and tracking
- Email invoicing
- Dashboard and reporting
- Business settings and configuration
The App operates within Google’s infrastructure and stores all user data within the user’s own Google Drive.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to use this Service. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.
4. User Accounts and Access
4.1 Google Account
The App requires a valid Google Account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google Account credentials.
4.2 Authorised Access
When you first use the App, you will be asked to grant certain permissions (OAuth scopes) that allow the App to function. These permissions include:
- Access to create and manage Google Sheets files in your Google Drive
- Access to create files in your Google Drive (for PDF generation)
- Ability to display the web application interface
- Access to your email address for identification purposes
- Ability to send emails on your behalf (for invoice delivery)
- Ability to connect to external services (for Stripe payment processing)
You may revoke these permissions at any time through your Google Account settings.
5. Free and Paid Services
5.1 Free Tier
Neet Invoicing offers a free tier that includes unlimited invoicing, contact management, payment tracking, email invoicing, and PDF generation.
5.2 Pro Tier
The Pro tier ($2/month) includes additional features such as time billing and removal of the Neet Invoicing logo from PDF invoices.
5.3 Payment
Pro tier payments are processed by Stripe. You authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis until you cancel.
5.4 Cancellation
You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you retain access to Pro features until the end of your current billing period, after which your account reverts to the Free tier. Your data is not deleted.
5.5 Refunds
If you are unsatisfied with the Pro tier, contact us within 30 days of your first payment for a full refund.
6. User Responsibilities
6.1 Lawful Use
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You shall not use the App:
- In violation of any applicable local, state, national, or international law
- To create fraudulent or misleading invoices
- To infringe upon the rights of others
- In any manner that could damage, disable, or impair the Service
6.2 Data Accuracy
You are solely responsible for the accuracy and completeness of all data you enter into the App. The App performs calculations based on user input and does not verify the accuracy of your entries.
6.3 Professional Advice
The App is a tool to assist with invoicing and time tracking. It does not constitute professional accounting, tax, or financial advice. You should consult with qualified professionals for such advice.
6.4 Backup
You are responsible for maintaining backups of your data. While data is stored in your Google Drive (which has Google’s backup systems), we recommend maintaining your own backup copies.
7. Intellectual Property
7.1 Ownership
The App, including all code, design, features, and documentation, is owned by A.C.N. 673 332 244 PTY LTD and is protected by Australian and international copyright and intellectual property laws.
7.2 License Grant
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal or internal business purposes.
7.3 Restrictions
You may not:
- Copy, modify, or distribute the App
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Remove any proprietary notices from the App
- Use the App to create a competing product
- Sublicense, sell, or transfer the App to third parties
7.4 Your Data
You retain all ownership rights to your data. We do not claim any ownership over the data you create using the App.
8. Privacy and Data Protection
8.1 Privacy Policy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
8.2 Data Storage
All data is stored within your own Google Drive. We do not store your data on external servers.
8.3 Data Collection
We may collect:
- Your email address (for user identification and subscription management)
- Anonymous usage analytics via Google Analytics (to improve the App)
- Error logs (for troubleshooting)
8.4 Australian Privacy Act
We comply with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) in our handling of personal information.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
9.1 “As Is” Basis
THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY
- FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
- NON-INFRINGEMENT
- ACCURACY OR RELIABILITY OF CALCULATIONS
- UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION
9.2 No Guarantee
We do not warrant that:
- The App will meet your specific requirements
- The App will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
- Results obtained from using the App will be accurate or reliable
- Any errors in the App will be corrected
9.3 Third-Party Services
The App operates within Google’s infrastructure. We are not responsible for any issues arising from Google’s services, including Google Sheets, Google Drive, or Google’s authentication systems.
10. Limitation of Liability
10.1 Exclusion of Damages
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, A.C.N. 673 332 244 PTY LTD SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
- Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
- Cost of procurement of substitute services
- Any damages arising from your use or inability to use the App
10.2 Maximum Liability
IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US (IF ANY) FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR ONE HUNDRED AUSTRALIAN DOLLARS (AUD $100), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
10.3 Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy conferred on you by the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010) or any other applicable law that cannot be excluded, restricted, or modified by agreement.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless A.C.N. 673 332 244 PTY LTD, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:
- Your use of the App
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any applicable law
- Your violation of any rights of a third party
- Any data or content you submit through the App
12. Modifications to the Service
12.1 Updates
We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue the App (or any part thereof) at any time without prior notice.
12.2 Feature Changes
We may add, change, or remove features at our discretion. We will endeavour to provide notice of significant changes.
13. Modifications to Terms
13.1 Changes
We may modify these Terms at any time. The updated Terms will be posted with a new “Effective Date.”
13.2 Notification
We will notify users of material changes through:
- The App interface
- Email (if provided)
- Our website
13.3 Continued Use
Your continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the App.
14. Termination
14.1 By You
You may stop using the App at any time. To fully remove access, revoke permissions in your Google Account settings.
14.2 By Us
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice, including if we believe you have violated these Terms.
14.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination:
- Your right to use the App ceases immediately
- Your data remains in your Google Drive (we do not delete it)
- Any active Pro subscription will be cancelled
- Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive will survive (including Sections 7, 9, 10, 11, and 15)
15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
15.1 Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New South Wales, Australia, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
15.2 Jurisdiction
You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales, Australia, for the resolution of any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App.
15.3 Informal Resolution
Before initiating any formal dispute resolution, you agree to first contact us to attempt to resolve the dispute informally.
16. General Provisions
16.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and A.C.N. 673 332 244 PTY LTD regarding the App.
16.2 Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
16.3 Waiver
Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other provision.
16.4 Assignment
You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your rights hereunder. We may assign our rights and obligations without restriction.
16.5 No Partnership
Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, joint venture, employment, or agency relationship between you and us.
16.6 Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, terrorism, riots, government actions, or internet outages.

BY USING NEET INVOICING, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD, AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS OF SERVICE.
